Belo Horizonte Plaza

I had a fantastic stay at BH Plaza. Apart from its strategic location and comfortable room, I had the pleasure of being treated very well. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. When I arrived, Juliano assisted me in everything I needed in a very empathetic way. At breakfast Jonathan was kind and very nice (he speaks English!). And the cleaning service was also excellent; on Wednesday 23rd July the lady who tidied up my room, did it with special care. Thank you all for making me feel like at home.

I am from the USA so I am bias in my expectations. This review is for others from my country. I recommend this hotel based on cost and comfort. The location is the best I could want. I could take the Executive Bus from the Airport to the hotel. Just ask for a ticket to Alvares Cabral. The hotel is very close to the Praca de Liberdade which hosts several free museums worth entering, especially the mining and minerology. At the south end of the Praca you will find the old palace and black swans. The swimming pool is small as is the fitness center. The breakfast buffet is good but not exceptional. The staff however, is exceptional and very willing to please. The rooms would be called outdated in the USA and need lots of small repairs, painting and other items but this is Brasil not a Florida resort and you must accept their culture. It was completely functional and very comfortable. I stayed in room 1103 which had a king size bed and plenty of room.

This place is terrible. I've been calling my friend and to be transfered to her room. They were with all this bullshit. I called like 10 times and always with excuses. Don't stay at this hotel it's just terrible service.
