Belstay Milano Linate

Clean room with comfortable bed. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was OK, basic but enough for my needs. By the time i came (half an hour before the closure), there was so little left. There is a pool , but I didn't got to spend time there. Yes, the corridor is dirty (seen in other reviews), but it didn't bother me.

Bad bad choice. We check in with an absolutely rude staff at the reception. Very unwelcoming. But the lady in the restaurant was lovely and kind. Very far from the center if you would like to go shopping. The bathroom is super small even in a superior room Housekeeping was good. Breakfast was cold and there was hardly anything left when I went at 9.40am and bad attitude by the staff to all guests. My husband spoke to the hotel manger.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. We were in transit for Milan Linate airport and had this hotel picked by our travel agent (who hadn’t used it before). The location is the only thing redeeming for this. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful (I received wrong information about where to go for a laundromat which ended up costing me around 50 euro in uber fees), the restaurant waitress was lovely but the restaurant is sub par - expensive but not tasty and small food servings, limited choices and the included breakfast was average. The ‘shuttle’ was a grumpy guy driving a van who didn’t communicate with us about the trip (we were waiting past the booked time as we didn’t know who he was), squeezing 7 passengers with 10+ suitcases into the van, driving erratically with loud music the whole time. They told us not to worry about going to the airport early but thankfully we did as it took us almost 2.5 hours to check in and get through security at the airport. The rooms were subpar in cleanliness - the toilet paper cheap and brown in colour, the towels were so threadbare and the pillows and bedding horrible. Would definitely not recommend this spot unless you’re desperate for something close to the airport.
