Not sure I recognise the one star reviews. We stayed one night in July and all the staff we met were very pleasant. The hotel is a corporate, slightly soulless hotel located on the outskirts of Rome. Fine for a night or two when needing to be close to the airport. Rooms were modern, clean and good size. Breakfast was pretty basic. All in all this is an Ok hotel that serves a purpose and I would stay again if I need somewhere to spend the night. If you're spending a romantic weekend in Rome maybe this hotel is not for you but all in all it was fine.
The bathroom floor was so dirty that there was an ant infestation. Asked for a different room didn't get one. Ate a subpar dinner while they supposedly cleaned the room again but still, there were ants. The AC was missing the control knob so we could not tell what temp it was set to . The pool was closed for the entire following day. They gave us drinks in lieu of pool. The shower head sprayer was half clogged and not spraying fully. They confused us with some business group for breakfast and sent us to the wrong room only to me sent back to the guest room. The good fresh coffee machine was not manned at all times. The other machine didn't provide his espresso. Breakfast was very good with fresh salad, tomatoes, artichokes. They had turkey not just pork meat. They had both scrambled and boiled eggs, good yogurt, many kinds of croissants, jam, nuts. Great breakfast. The bedsheets seemed to be made of microfiber instead of cotton, which made me hot. The AC was blowing right on top of the bed which is a common problem is many hotels. The sign on the road outside the hotel points cars in the wrong direction was from the reception area.
Our flight was cancelled and KLM put us up in a room in this hotel. Food was super average. Phone in the room was broken. Asked them to fix it and they didn’t. Toilet was leaking water. Air conditioner hardly worked, and the kicker was that my wife and I could not sleep as we were getting bitten by BED MITES the whole night. Stay away…
