Fantastic place to stay in the Royal Belum National Park - very easy to find if driving and there is plenty of parking, the location is found along just one straight road and turn right after the long bridge. There is also a possibility of seeing elephants on the long road in! The hotel itself is very modern and well kept, there are multiple restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner - all of which serve a mixture of Malaysian and western dishes and they all taste great with lots of variety. There are various amenities including a nice infinity pool with a great view, a games area with pool, table football, darts and you can also go bamboo rafting. The hotel also offer various excursions to see waterfalls, jungle treks, elephant spotting amongst others. The rooms are nice, big, spacious and have all the basics including complimentary water, hair dryer, shampoo & shower gel etc. There is also an ironing board and some small complimentary vanity kits too. The beds were also very comfy! The views surrounding the hotel are beautiful, although we unfortunately didn’t see much wildlife, there is opportunity to spot elephants and others if you are lucky or go out at the right time! All staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful as well. Overall a really great place to stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Belum Rainforest Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff were exceptional, especially Adrian, whose kindness and good heart truly stood out — we even witnessed him personally helping a fellow staff member in need, which speaks volumes about his character and leadership. All the team members were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. A special mention goes to our jungle trekking guide, Mr. Solihin — or as we fondly call him, “Mr. In.” He was absolutely fantastic, making us feel comfortable throughout the trek, explaining everything with great knowledge and patience, and adding a personal touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. The surroundings were breathtakingly peaceful, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast and à la carte menu — a little more variety would make the dining experience even better. That said, this didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and grateful for such a serene and heartwarming holiday. Highly recommended for anyone seeking nature, peace, and exceptional hospitality.

We stayed for 3D/2N in a basic room. The resort itself is very nice and everyone is quite helpful. They offer great tours, but if you don’t book in advance the day tours will be fully booked. If you want to go to Belum National Park you need to book it almost 14 days in advance. The room was basic. The road next to the building quite loud, so don’t forget your ear plugs :-) The only disappointment was the food in the Sidai a la cart restaurant. Several times we got food that wasn’t like what we expected from the description in the menu. Ingredients were missing or they haven’t had the dish at all. So I think value and price are not really matching in the restaurant.
