The hotel is absolutely breathtaking, with great service and even greater views...A special shoutout to Chef Bharat Mehta and his team, Especially our waitress Nirajala for serving us with a variety of Jain food, and a loads of personalized Jain items on demand with exceptional taste and outstanding service. We went for a traditional Gujarati dinner which was top class. Menu was interesting with great starters, good vegetable dishes . The highlight was the live Sitar music and tabla accompaniment.
Disappointing experience at The Belvedere Golf and Country Club My family and myself booked two rooms for the long weekend from 15th Aug to 17th Aug. At the time of booking, the agent did mention to me that the Golf course is not operational. However, even after asking on email whether other activities are paid, nothing was shared to us that we had to buy a day pass for even using the sports activities. On the day of check-in, on 15th, there was some lightning and we were asked to empty the pool immediately after coming into the pool. The steam room was also not operational. Upon asking the staff to let us use the pool after some time, they said they can't take any call. There was no lightning nor rain on 17th evening and then the staff was very rude and did not allow us to use the pool. Coming on the next day too, we could see moths in the pool. Very surprising that the pool wasn't even cleaned when there was so much rush on the 15th evening. With no other activities on site. It just got too boring for us. We had to practically be out of the resort for the full time during our stay as there was nothing for us to enjoy or spend our time at the resort. All other sports activities on the premises are charged. There is practically nothing to do. One of our rooms had my 7-year-old nephew traveling with his parents. Even though we did not use the extra bed we had to pay for the additional person charges. It's a beautiful property. But with lack of activities just gets to boring. I think the property is catering to its members rather than guests staying in rooms.
