Belvedere Hotel Skiathos

Nestled just beneath our villa in Skiathos was a place that served chilled white wine, bandaged wounds, and somehow — healed our spirits through sandwiches. The Belvedere isn’t just a hotel — it’s a soft place to land. You don’t need a room number to be welcomed. You just need to show up slightly sunburned, mildly bleeding, and ready for a Bloody Mary that knows all your secrets. Anastasia, poolside empress and cocktail facilitator, will offer you a towel, a floatie, and a look that says, “We’ve seen worse.” Her co-conspirator (name lost to time, vibe unforgettable) makes the kind of drinks that turn strangers into storytellers and club sandwiches into cultural events. I left with a scar on my foot, a tan on my soul, and the unshakable knowledge that some of the best parts of a holiday can happen where you were never officially booked.

We were very worried about the hotel after reading recent reviews but was pleasantly surprised. I would rate the hotel overall 3 stars. We were based in the main hotel. The rooms were clean but basic. The bathrooms very small. Daily room service (although they do come very early! Some days before 9am). We could not get any wi-fi in our room at all but our family got spotty signal a few doors down. Pool was clean but no signs of how deep the pool is which is surprisingly deep all around the edges. Pool bar was nice and chilled Breakfast was very basic and bland. We found it to be quite dry but not totally inedible. We ordered a car and quads through the hotel which were very helpful and friendly service. Location- close to town on the main road opposite bus stop 10. The road is very busy and noisy. 5 minute walk to the beach. Overall we had a nice stay. But would say the rating is 3 stars over 4 as advertised.

I thought that the bad comments I read before the vacation were written by some complex people.. This hotel does not deserve 4 stars, the most realistic is only 2. The hotel is located right next to the main road and there is a lot of noise until late at night. The breakfast is the same every day, it is not bad, but it should be more varied. The rooms are in good condition and you have a beautiful view from the second floor to the sea, which is about 300m away. Internet only works at the reception, and in the room you have a good signal only at the front door. Despite several complaints, the problem was not resolved. The air conditioner in the room worked as a fan and could not cool the space. The staff didn't fix that problem either. The maids were great.
