The hotel is isolated on the top of a cliff and unless you are eating lunch/dinner in the restaurant in the hotel or in the nearby local restaurant approx. 750 meters away then you have to go somewhere else and the nearest town is Izola around 3 km away. The breakfast in the hotel is very good and highly recommended. My kids loved the swimming pool.
The toilets are clean, the water is hot, washing machine and dishwasher are available. The beach is near to camp. The place for car/camper/ tent are big enough. There is lot of green space. It's good place to stay a few days.
We stayed for 2 nights in one of the villa rooms, the room had a kitchenette and a balcony with a gorgeous view, but the biggest fault was the lack of air-conditioning. There was a very old and extremely dusty old air-con which provided very little relief from hot temperatures we experienced during our stay. The room was very hot, and the curtains did nothing to reduce heat or light either. Also the bathroom was very small, even maneuvering to the toilet was tricky and the shower curtain wasn't ideal. On a positive note, the free shuttle bus the beach was handy and breakfast was a decent spread! And be sure to note that the hotel hosted lots of families with young children so just be aware if this is something you prefer to avoid
