Belvita Hotel

Awesome hotel. I do not understand why this hotel has only 3,5/5. Room is perfectly clean. Roses on bed was awesome!!! Sea view is incredible. Food is really tasty, the man who cook the pita gyro is the masterchef in my opinion! 5/5 and we will be back with my flance :-)

The bar staff especially christos are rather rude, when you ask for a drink he starts flinging his arms and shouts at you when you order more than one drink and the proceeds to say it’s two per person but doesn’t stick to that rule for every person. Furthermore, the buffet is quite repetitive with the same options every night. If you eat at the a la carte it’s basically like eating on a building site with a small menu and you cannot order cocktails even though nicholas gets the drinks from the pool bar anyway also for dessert you only get one option which is a plate of fruit dumped infront of you along with napkins where your supposed to eat it off . The housekeepers are the best staff there, they are always smiling and greeting you whilst cleaning the rooms to the best standards possible. However, there is a few maintenance issues with the room for example: taps are crusty, shower grout is yellowing, and the plastic part of the shower door is hanging off and the rooms could also do with a repaint as quite a few marks on the walls. personally i don’t think this hotel is 4-star maybe a 2 or 3star maximum. The location is great with an amazing bar nearby called brillantina where you should go if you want good service with a smile and a laugh which is extremely missing from the pool bar at belvita hotel.

We were disappointed from the moment we arrived. The reception area and furniture looked outdated and low-quality, and the same could be said for the small bedrooms. The furniture was very old, the sliding bathroom doors were broken, the taps were outdated, and the mattress was uncomfortable. The bed frames were broken and made a lot of squeaky noises. The shower room was extremely small—definitely not suitable for someone with a muscular build. (Please refer to the attached photos.) The lobby was uncomfortably hot, making it impossible to use as a social space. The air conditioning was ineffective in both the restaurant and the main reception area, with indoor temperatures reaching around 26°C. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the beach, but the path is dark and feels unsafe in the evening. There weren’t enough sunbeds by the pool, which was frustrating. Entertainment was almost entirely in French, with constant talking that became quite annoying. Nothing was available in English, which made it difficult to enjoy. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and the food was good, although the menu was very repetitive. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere better.
