Outstanding service, excellent breakfast, wonderful Spa with numerous saunas and turkish bath of perfect temperature/humidity. Exceptionally relaxing atmosphere. Wattenmeer within walking distance. Open North Sea and 40km long sand beach can be reached by bus, with service every 1-3 hours. Shuttle service by hotel staff available. Dinner menu is VERY expensive, some pairing wine is tremendous, such as a Künstler Riesling and a Shiraz from Baden-Württemberg. Food nothing to write home about, nearby Amici is an alternative.
It’s a family tradition to go to Sylt atleast once a year and stay there for a week or two. Benen-Diken-Hof is our go-to place. The staff are warm and welcoming, the “langschläfer frühstuck” is something I always look forward to. The location is also great! The bar is also a place you should visit if you want to have drink or two in a cozy place.
The food is amazing and worth the price, but the service wasn't as good as it should be. We waited around 25-30 minutes to get the first drinks. Additionally they are using big boards to present the menu and we had to ask to remove it, so we got a nice view from the table. Overall its 4 stars just because of the high quality food. Service is like 1 star
