Absolutely stunning Guesthouse with spacious living rooms, cozy bedrooms with aircon and luxurious on-suite bathroom. Breakfast is akin to a private restaurant experience complete with candles and roses. Beautifully serene and quiet! And an amazing host!
Kari and myself had the privilege of staying at the Benguela guesthouse. Although we only stayed for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and also the spacious rooms and off course Jonathan’s amazing food. It really was a spoil. Thanks to all the friendly staff that made our stay so memorable.
★★★★★ Our stay at Benguela Bed and Breakfast was absolutely delightful! Jonathan and Godwin are exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and right at home. Jonathan's home is a true testament to his eclectic taste and love for beautiful art. Every corner was adorned with unique pieces that added to the charm and character of the place. And oh, the views of the ocean! They were simply breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a serene getaway. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with fresh fruit and delicious coffee that started our days off on the right foot. Our room was not only spacious but also incredibly comfortable, allowing us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, we do have a few suggestions for improvement. The room tended to get quite hot at night, especially with the AC unit off during load shedding. Although Jonathan had generators for daytime use, nighttime comfort was compromised. Additionally, the slow drainage in the bathroom was a minor inconvenience, requiring us to pause our showers to let the water drain properly. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience at Benguela Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. We highly recommend this charming retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in a beautiful coastal setting.
