Benjamin's Pier at Laguna Reef Resort

This location offers a truly relaxing getaway. The comfortable rooms provide a welcome respite after a day of activities. A refreshing dip in the generously sized pool is always an option. For those who enjoy fishing, the private pier offers a tranquil spot to cast a line. It was an ideal place to unwind and create lasting memories.

We stayed in room 311. Do not rent if you are going through Miss Kitty‘s. Hopefully the owner of this unit will turn it over to the new management that is now running the place called Evoke. We went straight to the room at 3:55, our room was supposed to be ready at 4 PM. It was a mess. No one had cleaned the room. Trash everywhere, pull out sofa bed unmade, the bed had not been turned over. I called Miss Kitty’s and they managed to get someone to clean the room. Not an apology or an I’m sorry at all. Fortunately, we got a very nice young woman to come clean the room. She is the only one that apologized. And she did an amazing thorough cleaning job on the room. She even came back the next day and checked on us. She did that out of the kindness of our own heart not because her boss told her to. If you want to stay here then call Evoke and book a room through them. Natalie is amazing and even though I was not booked under her management, she still tried to make things right for us. You can tell that things are beginning to look nicer under the new management. The property is cleaner and the pool is well kept. 311 is a nice room and dog friendly. The balcony has extra wiring, so the dog can’t go through the iron railing. If we do come back here and stay, I will update my review.

Nice rooms but could tell cleanup must have been rushed. Was told a few days before that we are responsible for supplying our own soap, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, clean towels and trash bags after the first 24 hours. Also, no coffee or spices would be available in the condo. We planned to be there 6 days so we thought that was a pretty sad policy on their part. The management counter informed us that they do not actually manage the condo we booked and we would have to instead contact our original booking company if we had any questions and concerns. Batteries in our tv remotes were dead so 2 days later they were delivers to us. There has to be a better way.
