Beautiful surroundings and views, excellent and cozy restaurant. Breakfast was very delicious and well arranged. We dined in the local restaurant, and the Striploin course was amazing and prepared to perfection. The Gateau Marcel was nice, but didn't quite live up to the potentials. We stayed in the luxury suite, which was quiet and spacious, and included complimentary minibar, beautiful terrace and a heated outdoor hot tub. Friendly and helpful service from all the staff we met.
I was given a room not in the main hotel but in Annex that is located further from the hotel. Room was tidy, but not cosy. The breakfast was really good this for sure lifted the rating of the hotel that I wanted to give :)
We stayed 2 nights at Benniksgaard Hotel Annex. The Annex is like a hostel - and the buildings were previously used as a public school. We had booked a table in the restaurant for 19:00 - but had to wait a full hour until the table were ready. we were served one complimentary drink for this.
