Berg SPA & Hotel Zamangspitze

Really great experience for a skiing weekend - such high value to price ratio in terms of overall service, food and location. For half board, there is a gourmet dinner including 5 courses that was really some of my top meals in Austria…on top of that lunch and an afternoon tea (which is more like a meal) is also included . I didn’t take the lunch but the afternoon tea was a wide selection of cheese, a meat soup, bread, dessert and fruit?!! Breakfast was also top - such a wide selection of fresh local ingredients with changing menu…. Wellness was also super impressive with different saunas… For skiers, there is also a ski shuttle that leaves frequently. In all, there are so many little details that show me a commitment to tradition and service. I really enjoyed this family run hotel and hope they keep it up in the years to come.

I had a lovely week here in this August. The food and spa are wonderful, definitely 5-star level. The service is nice, very friendly staff. A lot of outdoor activities available not far from this town. And here is also a great ski resort in winter. I hope I can come back to this hotel again for a ski holiday!

Beautiful family run hotel on the sunny side of the valley. We didn't stay but reserved a table for dinner (there is limited availability for external guests, reservation is required). I was impressed with the extensive and well priced wine list, and the buffet on the day was varied and plentiful. Most importantly, everything we had was delicious. Service also went out of their way to accommodate us (including our infant), and we felt right at home. Highly recommended!
