Bergamo Inn 21

We just had 4 nights stay in Bergamo Inn21. It was Easy check in if you follow the instructions thru the email. Some review were saying it’s fraud. As they sent the link to pay tourist tax. The key code sent after you’ve paid the tourist tax and you could only able to check in at 3pm (check in time). Kindly note that there’s no reception in the premises. Room was great interior and practical functions. The Highlight of our stay : it’s super strategic and easy to go everywhere. Near the supermarket, restaurant and to train station. Even nearest bus stop was only few steps away. We have got super neat room with balcony no. 104 Room for improvement: •Toilet door and seat make noises whenever used. • the cleaner need to vacuum under the bed We are recommending this hotel for those who wants to visit Bergamo and other cities thru Bergamo.

The bad bits - we weren't sent the email with the access pin so I had to chase this. It took 4 phonecalls but got there in the end. Once we paid the city tax through the link, we were instantly sent the code. No issue accessing the building upon arrival. Whilst we were there, we had a few issues - the Aircon broke on day 2, the battery stopped working in the electronic keypad and we had problems getting into the room. We had to message the WhatsApp and it took hours to get a response. It's horrible not having anyone on site, you are left on your own basically. There are not enough sockets and 4 clothes hangers for a week is not enough either. No real storage but we worked around it. Checkout was at 11 but our flight wasn't until 22.55. requested to pay to keep the room for longer but not an option. Have never stayed in a hotel where you cannot do this or where luggage storage isn't an option. The room was beautiful ,huge comfy bed, good Aircon when it worked, lovely view over Piazza Pontida, great shower and towels changed regularly and room cleaned. If you are from the UK, your adapters won't work on all sockets in the room. We had two sockets only for hairdryers, phones, iron etc. Location is really good and the windows in the room are great for soundproofing as the piazza is super lively! I would stay here again as the location is great and the building/rooms are lovely but the lack of service is a disgrace to be honest. So many reviews saying the same but no response?

Terrible customer service. I’ve booked with this hotel and double booked by accident. When asked for a refund it was denied although I asked for it within 10 minutes of booking and was 1 months in advance of the date of stay. I’ve been tying to get a hold of them since then but no response has been given. I do not recommend
