Bergdale Cottages

We had a lovely stay at Mango Cottage! The place is cozy and private, with its own car parking space which was really convenient. The bed was super comfortable, and the well-equipped kitchenette made it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The location is excellent—just a short drive to Kruger’s Phabeni Gate, making it perfect for early morning game drives. The property also offers a range of helpful services, which added a lot of value to our stay. One downside was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t available on the second day, which meant no cable TV either—but aside from that, everything else went smoothly. A special thanks to Ashley, who helped arrange a fantastic full-day private game drive with Edward from GAP Tours and Transfers. It was a highlight of our trip! Would definitely recommend Bergdale Cottage for anyone visiting the Kruger area.

The hosts are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are spotless and spacious.

Without a doubt one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in the eastern transval.Very close to Kruger park and due to it being in hazy view, you’ll have access to the shopping centre.The cottages are extremely spacious,clean and comfortable. The kitchen items are very practical .Its unbelievably beautiful and serene, with animals walking about.The cottages are far apart so you may not even see other guests.And lastly the staff are some of the most kind and obliging people I’ve ever come across.i know the term “a hidden gem” is overused but this truly is a hidden gem.I was genuinely sad to leave and I most certainly will be back!!
