We've been coming here for skiing holidays for many, many years and always look forward to the warm hospitality of Gerlinde and Georg. The apartments are lovingly furnished to a high standard, the farm's own produce is sensationally delicious, and the ski resorts are within easy reach. We'll definitely be back soon!
We spent a week at the Bergerhof Fontanella on a ski holiday with two small children. The apartments are brand new and very nicely and functionally furnished. The owners (Gerlinde & Georg) were always quick to reach and helpful with any questions. Location: The farm is idyllically situated just outside of Fontanella with a fantastic view of the mountains. By car, you can reach Faschina or Damüls in just a few minutes. There's also a ski bus from Fontanella, but we didn't use it. Outside of school holidays, parking in the ski area was no problem. The children also enjoyed stopping by the Kühne family's stable after skiing, and there are also a few chickens and goats on the farm. Even in summer, the Bergerhof Fontanella is definitely a great place to relax and a starting point for excursions in the region! By the way, we highly recommend the ski school in Faschina for learning to ski, especially with children. We really enjoyed our week with the Burtscher family and can wholeheartedly recommend a holiday there!
Gerlinde and Georg are very nice, the apartments are beautiful and spacious, extensive kitchen equipment, beautiful views. Recommended.
