Berger's Sporthotel

3 of us stayed in the apartment in the hotel, there was plenty of room, very modern looking, great veiw of the ski slopes. Great for both families and for groups of friends The SPA area is a very nice touch, good sauna and steam room and a lovely pool with a relaxing area, great for after a long day skiing. Hotel is in a great location, only a few minute walk from all the ski lifts. Would 100% recommend if you stay at Saalbach🥳

A Cozy and Convenient Stay Over Christmas We stayed at this hotel over the Christmas period, and it was a wonderful base for our ski holiday. The location is absolutely superb—perfect for accessing the slopes and exploring the surrounding area. While the hotel is a little dated, it has clearly been around a long time and knows how to meet the needs of its guests. Our room was simple but had everything we needed, including a fridge, which came in handy for storing food we picked up from a local shop (I brought a kettle along, which was also helpful!). The ski room was a standout feature—heated and well-equipped for storing gear, making it easy to head out each day. The restaurant was decent and kept us well-fed, though we also enjoyed visiting nearby restaurants for variety. The reception staff were warm and welcoming, which added to the hotel’s charm. Overall, this hotel provided a comfortable and convenient stay. It might not be the most modern property, but it suited our needs perfectly, especially since we spent most of our time out skiing. A great option if you're looking for practicality and friendly service in an excellent location!

We booked the hotel as a part of a ski package and stayed here for a week. The hotel is centrally located and there are 3-4 ski lifts within walking distance. Many ski rental shops, cafés and restaurants are also nearby. The hotel is a bit old and worn and giving it 4 stars is a bit generous. I have stayed in better 3 star hotels. The food was average. It would do good with a modernization uplift. We stayed on 3rd floor and did not have any issues with noise from clubs, but the sound insulation inside the hotel is not very good. You can hear everything from the corridors into the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from the day we arrived until we left.
