Berghotel Biberkopf

We stayed here for 9 nights half board. Every evening the dining experience was superb. We did not repeat the dinner menu throughout our stay. Rooms were well laid out. The service was impressive throughout from front desk to dining. We like the ski room and the lockers which kept our skis, gloves and boots warm and dry. It’s a ski in-out with a lift from the ski locker to the gondola. Overall, it will be a place to return for sure.

An outstanding hotel! What makes it truly exceptional: - Beautiful design throughout all areas - Super friendly staff - Impeccable cleanliness Room (Master Suite in the attic): Absolutely wonderful! The attention to detail is impressive, with top-notch craftsmanship—something high-end American hotel chains could learn from. The suite features plenty of storage space, a cozy living area with seating and a sofa on a beautiful carpet, all set on stunning oak parquet flooring. Thoughtful lighting design allows for different ambiance settings. A clever room divider houses storage and a rotating TV (even an HDMI cable was available upon request). The bed is of excellent quality—though a bit firm for our taste, but a topper was quickly provided, making it much more comfortable. The suite includes an infrared sauna integrated into the wet area, enclosed in glass but with the option of drawing a curtain for privacy. There’s a rain shower, a separate toilet near the entrance, and a shower-toilet in the main bathroom. A fridge and Nespresso machine are provided, with enough capsules and tea. The first minibar stock is included—great touch! Restaurant: Breakfast: Delicious, with egg dishes prepared very quickly. The setting is well-designed, offering plenty of seating options. Regional products are a highlight. Dinner: Mixed experience. - Soups: Very small portions and quite expensive. - Salads: Good, but inconsistent dressing quality. -Burger & Schnitzel: Really good. We felt that the restaurant quality doesn’t quite match the exceptional level of the rest of the hotel. Spa & Facilities: The spa area is small but absolutely top-notch, featuring a lounge pool, separate whirlpool, saunas, and various relaxation areas. The gym is compact but functional. The ski room is fantastic—well-organized with high-quality lockers, including boot warmers. Ski-in, ski-out with a direct lift to the gondola—perfect! Underground parking is included at no extra charge—exactly how it should be! A minor detail: The sloped glass windows could be cleaned more frequently... due to birds and their "leftovers".... A neat touch: two windows are heated, ensuring you always have a clear view, even when the rest are snowed in. Bonus tip: The Warth ski area is highly recommended—mainly north-facing slopes = excellent snow quality! We were truly impressed and will definitely return!

Our recent experience at Biberkopf was truly amazing, earning it a well-deserved five-star review. The hotel's personnel is incredibly kind, friendly and always happy to help. The standout feature for us was the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms which contributed significantly to our overall comfort during the stay. One of the unique aspects that sets this hotel apart is its location: not only does the slope lead directly to the hotel - which is always pleasant - but it also has an elevator in the ski room which takes you directly to the lift. This makes getting to the slopes truly effortless. We highly recommend this hotel and are looking forward to returning in the future!
