After a nice walk in the mountain, we stopped by for some sweet and drinks. Very nice and friendly staff, great quality and taste in a very warm atmosphere.

Great Bavarian Food at a new more contemporary locational Glaphof was a guarantee for outstanding Bavarian food in Reit. I was quite curious to see how things come together at the new location. In short: same great foot at a more contemporary location. Don't miss this restaurant when in Reit im Winkl!

This is the third year I visited the restaurant in this place and for the first time I’m disappointed. We visited the huttenabend event, for which we made a reservation weeks in advance. Regardless of our booking we had to share a table with others and were seated in a separated area from where we couldn’t even see the live performances. The waitress seemed stressed out and was short and unfriendly. Because of it being busy, they apparently couldn’t bring out all our food at the same time, meaning that one of us was already done eating before the last even got their food. I don’t understand why the restaurant could not plan this event better and anticipate on the number of people joining the event. The food was quite nice, but the experience was ruined. I really used to like this restaurant, but this year I’m very disappointed.
