Bergwelt Grindelwald Alpine Design Resort

Truly a special place right in the heart of Grindelwald! The staff is lovely, the hotel is beautiful and always clean, and the spa area was awesome. Our favorite area was actually the pool! So refreshing after a day of hiking. We spent a whole week and it always felt very homey. Breakfast was also so nice! Julio at the omelette station was always a bright spot in the morning! Location truly can’t be beat! Central to all things: the lifts, the train, restaurants, shops - it was all perfectly right there! 10/10 recommend and hope to be back!

Loved the hotel and the included breakfast was the best of our trip! The staff were all lovely and upgraded our room to a larger room for our anniversary. Our room overlooked the hot tub and had a partial Mountain View. The room itself was so cozy and luxurious feeling. The robes, slippers, and pool bag to use during our stay were all nice touches. The hot tub was spacious, very warm, and relaxing. The breakfast every morning was such a treat and had the best Mountain Views. The staff were thoughtful, kind, and so helpful. We loved our stay at the Bergwelt Grindelwald and couldn’t recommend it more.

I was absolutely delighted with our stay at Bergwelt Grindelwald. We stayed in the corner room with a stunning view of the Eiger — it was hands down the best! The room was beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with a lovely complimentary mini bar that was such a nice surprise. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely caring — they never hesitated to assist with anything, no matter how big or small. This hotel is the perfect choice whether you’re looking for a luxurious alpine experience or just a quiet and relaxing retreat.
