Berjaya Langkawi Resort

We really found it enjoyable staying here.There is a variety of wonderful, exotic animals. I would recommend the nature walk. The resort gives you a shuttle ride to the cable cars , located in the wonderful oriental village. The food is delicious.I recommend the breakfast croissants .The dayang cafe is the best.Its a buffet and a restaurant. There is also a beach brassiere,located on the side of the beach. Beach waters are not quite that clear, but who can change that.Lots of water sports to sign up for.Kids club could be bigger, with more supplies, so could the sports bar , but we had fun in both.Rooms are nice, beware you might find lizards and cockroaches in there.They give you a complimentary mini bar!Lastly, everyone there is lovely, and will even sometimes be up for a chat.I highly recommend it. Excellent stay at Berjaya Langkawi! Even though we experienced a water leak from the roof during the night, the staff handled it superbly. Within an hour, we were moved to an upgraded room, and they even gave us a dinner voucher as a gesture of goodwill. Truly excellent customer service — fast, professional, and caring. The resort itself is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a peaceful escape from the city. The architecture blends with nature, and the landscaped gardens are perfect for a quiet stroll. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and designed to maximize the stunning views. Dining is a highlight, with a restaurant serving both local specialties and international favorites. Breakfast is generous, and our complimentary dinner was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The location is ideal for exploring the surroundings. Just a short trip away, the scenic cable car offers breathtaking views over mountains and forest, with observation decks and nature trails at the top. Nearby villages offer local handicrafts, tea houses, and even a small museum highlighting the region’s history. Overall, it’s a resort that combines comfort, nature, and outstanding hospitality. The quick and thoughtful handling of our issue turned a minor inconvenience into a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended!

The best part about the hotel is the beach! Very nice sand, water. And private. The rooms were old. Stayed in the rainforest chalet. Floors creaking etc. but clean and bed is VERY comfortable. Food in hotel was average. Service slow. But the Thai restaurant was fantastic.
