Berjaya Waterfront Hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel for a 3-night getaway, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The property is beautifully maintained and located right by the river, with breathtaking views of the ocean. The lobby is spacious, modern, and welcoming, with attentive front desk staff who made check-in smooth and efficient. The view from the balcony was incredible definitely the highlight. The room was clean and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed, and ample closet space.Housekeeping was consistent and thorough the day. I also appreciated the complimentary mineral water and towels. This resort is ideal for couples or families looking for a mix of relaxation and luxury by the sea. I'd highly recommend it and would definitely return. During my stay at the Berjaya Waterfront, one of the standout aspects was the professionalism and attentiveness of the Operator manager, Mr Daniel. From the moment we checked in, Mr. Daniel made us feel genuinely welcome. He personally ensured our check-in process was seamless, and even followed up with a courtesy call later that evening to make sure everything in our room was up to standard. What impressed me most was his hands-on approach. Throughout our stay, he could often be seen walking the property, greeting guests, and checking in with his team to ensure everything was running smoothly. His leadership clearly reflects in the excellent service and morale of the hotel staff. It’s rare to see a manager so involved and approachable. Mr. Daniel is a true asset to the hotel professional, proactive, and genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. He made a great stay even better

Stayed one night at Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor Bahru, and it was a decent experience for the price. The room matched expectations based on the rate—clean, comfortable bed, and hot water worked fine. The highlight was the *waterfront view overlooking Singapore*, which was quite pleasant. The duty-free shop downstairs offers a moderate selection; it's convenient but not particularly impressive. Parking can be a bit tricky you'll need to drive up to the 6th floor, and the layout is somewhat confuse. Breakfast was okay, with a reasonable variety. Special thanks to *Abu*, who provided friendly and attentive service during the meal. His calm demeanor and constant smile made the dining experience more enjoyable. Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly stay with a nice view and decent amenities, this hotel fits the bill. I wouldn't mind staying another night.

Me & my husband booked the hotel for 3 nights and checked out after our 1st night. The location of the hotel is great, the exterior of the hotel gives it the luxury charm. But here's what didn't worked. 1.the hallways fells suffocated because of lack of ventilation. It smells weird 2. The room was old. Seemed clean but I am certain that it would give you the mould allergy. The most uncomfortable part was the bed. It felt itchy. 3. The room came with breakfast which was OK considering the price.
