Berkeley Square Hotel

I think the hotel is in the process of updating rooms since some of the comments were posted. Our room was great, very large comfy bed (we had the mid range superior room) ground coffee and tea leaves plus herbal tea bags in the room, with tea pot and cafetiere. Good shower and toiletries. Nice chilled out area for breakfast, the room rate including breakfast was cheaper than room only for some reason, we don't normally bother with breakfast. Dog friendly rooms £10 per pet extra, they can room you for breakfast too. Nice small park over the road and handily located for clifton village. Secure parking £17 they have 11 spots available. One small letdown , no air-conditioning in the room and the sun had been blasting it all day. There were 2 fans in the room so it was OK, the corridor was air-conditioned tho so it was a bit of a contrast going in and out. Also very friendly and helpful staff,

Absolutely loved staying in this hotel! I was treated to an upgrade into one of the suites & it was pure luxury! Delicious snacks, complimentary sherry & a pantry filled with basics to make a lovely dinner or breakfast. Super comfortable beds - I had the best sleep I'd had in some time. Will definitely return next time I'm back in Bristol

This is a charming boutique hotel in a location that is ideal for visiting the university's arts and social science faculties, medical school or central administration, or for a visit to Clifton. I stayed just one night (Saturday) had a cosy double room to myself. The room was bijou: small but with everything I needed for a good night, in particular a comfortable bed. It had been thoroughly cleaned and the consumables all replenished as you would expect. The staff were pleasant, helpful and interested in making our stay enjoyable. Breakfast offered a wide choice of options. The cooked breakfast is prepared in the kitchen, so it's not been sitting around on a buffet hot plate for hours and is fresh and tasty. Well done, Berkeley Square! I'll be back...
