Berkshires Untold

Really enjoyed my two night stay here earlier in July. While upon arrival it looks like a motel of old - it’s thoroughly updated and super comfortable. The rooms, the linens and bed and the shower all top notch. The staff was welcoming and very hospitable. Sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine was outstanding! Definitely recommend

The lobby/bar is gorgeous. It has vaulted ceilings with handsome shelving reaching high and adorned with vintage books and other items. A fireplace and lounge area are found at the far end. The rooms are simple, small, and well decorated. The beds and pillows are comfortable. It’s perfect. We didn’t spend much time in the room. We brought our dog and it was easy to walk him around the hotel. This is on trend with all the converted motels that have been popping up. The concept is to save money while being surrounded by beautiful design.

Relatively inexpensive motel with contemporary interiors, on-grade parking and a “club house” (bar, common area with indoor and patio seating). Rooms are clean and uncluttered. Large desk, armoire includes a small fridge, bedside chair for reading. No in-room coffee/tea maker. Good for adult travelers looking for short term, utilitarian accommodations.
