It is very nice that it is close to Lake Como and Bergamo airport. The breakfast is also legendary.
Checkin was smooth, I was able to get a room 2.5 hours before the checkin time. The room was clean, the markdown is for how worn out the room was. Stains on the carpet, and you could feel the room has had some mileage from being used a lot. The bed was comfortable and the curtains block out the light great. The room was nice and quiet which I appreciated. The bathroom had excellent hot water for the shower and faucet. There was also a receptacle that could be switched to 120 or 220 volt with an American plug! That was a bonus I have not encountered yet in Italy. Parking is plenty around the facility, but if you want to park close to the entrance that costs 2 Euros every time you go through the pay gate. I did not have time to enjoy breakfast, and cannot comment there. We did order drinks one evening in the lobby and the service was good.
Not worth 4 stars. Stains on carpet and sofa. Used and not updated Tee bags. No extra blankets in the room. No infos about getting to the entry to unload bags!! Have to park on a higher level an hour down uncovered stairs to the reception. Room door without any infos about security systems etc. etc. Breakfast was the best of what they offer.
