An Unforgettable Stay at Black Mountain Bespoke Breaks My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Black Mountain Bespoke Breaks in the stunning Black Mountains of Wales, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived in the evening, we felt like we had stepped into a tranquil retreat, with the entire place to ourselves. Caitlin, our incredible host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Despite the chilly weather causing some pipes to freeze in one of the huts, Caitlin immediately resolved the issue by offering us another hut. Her open, honest communication and willingness to accommodate us were truly commendable. The thoughtful touches throughout our stay made it feel extra special. We were greeted with fresh bread, farm eggs, homemade jams, Prosecco, sausages, and milk—an absolute treat! The setting was breathtaking, and the interior of the hut was beautifully designed, creating a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere that we instantly fell in love with. Caitlin’s hospitality didn’t stop there; she generously allowed us a late checkout, which gave us extra time to soak in the serene environment. With plenty of wood provided for the fire, we were able to relax and enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the hut without a worry. I wholeheartedly recommend Black Mountain Bespoke Breaks to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway. My girlfriend and I left feeling completely refreshed and already planning our next visit. Thank you, Caitlin, for an incredible and unforgettable experience—we will be singing your praises to everyone we know!

My fiance and I stayed here for 1 night in January to celebrate his birthday and we had the best time. The setting is beautiful and the hut itself was so cute and cosy. Ours had been decorated with a thoughtful rustic birthday banner with breakfast and prosseco in the fridge! Caitlin is a wonderful host, there is a pack of information on the local area, things to do etc, directions and instructions on how to access the cabin were straightforward. The layout of the cabins means that it has privacy, we barely noticed that other people were there too. I was a little concerned it would be too cold to use the hot tub but it was lovely and warm even on a freezing January evening. We lit the woodburner in the hut although it would have been warm enough without. The bed was perhaps the comfiest I have ever slept in! We would recommend Hills Burgers in Brecon for dinner which is a 10 minute drive for some amazing burgers, and the next day we drove to Pen y Fan which is around 25 minutes away and climbed to the summit. Overall a really lovely short break, everything was 10/10. We will be back in the summer!

Beautiful cabin, really modern and all the facilities are exceptional. The shower was wonderful, the bed was so comfy, the speaker was a lovely addition as was the TV with Netflix etc all available. The cabin had everything you could possibly need! The breakfast hamper was also a really kind touch and Caitlin (host) also catered to our vegan requirements with vegan butter/milk/bacon, which was amazing. The hot tub was perfect and heated for the entirety of our stay. The complimentary bottle of prosecco was another lovely touch. The grounds were very clean and had ample lighting to make your way back in the dark. Although there are 3 cabins on the site, they are secluded enough that we didn't hear or see anyone during our stay. The location is great and ideal for us as we wanted to go into Haye on Wye / Brecon. It is located next to two main roads so there is a bit of a road noise. We couldn't hear anything whilst in the cabin but could hear a few cars go past when in the hot tub but very minor!
