From the moment we arrived, the experience at The Lake View Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The staff welcomed us warmly and made every effort to ensure our stay was perfect. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were even offered a welcome drink upon arrival – such a nice touch! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views of the mountains. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided – including luxury toiletries, a Nespresso machine, and fluffy robes – added a true sense of indulgence. Dining at the hotel restaurant was a highlight. The breakfast buffet was generous and delicious, with options for every dietary preference. We also had dinner there one evening, and the food was both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Most importantly, the service was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and memorable experience. It's a very beautiful place amidst nature nearby Kamru and nearby Baspa Dam. Spacious rooms.. Very good hospitality. We are a family of 4 visited yesterday. Hot water 24*7. Very tasty homely food. Staffs are very prompt in attending guests. Beautiful scenic beauty 😍
Our stay at Lake View Resort was, unfortunately, not as expected. The name is a bit misleading — there’s no actual lake view, and the location is a little before Sangla, not in Sangla itself. It is in Kuppa. The rooms weren’t properly cleaned, the toilet didn’t have a jet spray, and the bedsheets were torn, which was disappointing. The service was also quite slow during our stay. That said, there were two things we genuinely liked: the food was delicious and felt home-cooked, and the location is quite offbeat, which might appeal to those looking for some quiet away from the usual crowd. With some improvements in cleanliness and service, the place has potential, but as of now, it fell short of expectations.
