Best Western Grand Hotel

Loved it. Older hotel with no English staff but that added to the fun and experience. I understand that it is not up to the standards of a western 4 star hotel but everyone there tries very hard and it really shows. People went above and beyond to help us and even though we were the dumb tourists, no one tried to overcharge us or sell us junk in or around the hotel. The hotel resturant is a little confusing at first and we were really disappointed night 1. But we gave it a second chance and the next 3 nights were perfect. Also we only ended up paying less than $30 Australian dollars for 3 courses and 2 soft drinks...in a hotel resturant? Completely unheard of. I'm in my bejing hotel writing this and they want something like $80aud p.p for their dinner buffet which looks much worse. Google translate with a reliable VPN or a firewall allowed translator app is a must (google translate worked perfectly-no misunderstandings)

The room we stayed is really comfortable and I love it just it is quite dusty near the window where they have a stage. It just made me felt disgusted and there some black black thingy growing. The worst part is when I am having my cup noodle.. ew! But the LOVE I WANT TO GIVE IS, the breakfast, the have lots of variety and I love it! Keep up the good work. It's the best among 4 different hotel I had been to during my trip in Changsha and Zhang Jia Jie 👍

One of the beds had a bloodstain on it. There isn't much to do at that area, unless you wanna walk alot or far. When we called someone to change the bedsheets (cause of the bloodstain), she was pretty slow, probably because she was on her phone the whole time. The rooms also have a weird scent. It's a old place, they need to upgrade it a little.
