Best Western Hotel Continental

Location is NOT bad, just a bit from the center which is reachable by car in about 6 minutes. Staff were wonderful, from breakfast room to front desk. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was a great place to stay while in Udine.

Great staff, service and breakfast. The only reason for a 4 star are the rooms. The set up (air conditioning, TV ) has no logic. Shower / bathrooms require a dedicated cleaning company from time to time as well. Still the staff was fantastic and the breakfast phenomenally. Nice positioning to any other location as well.

We stayed one night at the Best Western Hotel Continental in Udine with our two children. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room was very clean and matched the standards of a 4-star hotel — comfortable bedding, quality towels, and all necessary toiletries. We all slept very well, and the view from our room was lovely. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick, and the reception staff were friendly and professional, which we really appreciated. However, the breakfast experience was disappointing and not up to 4-star standards. The buffet layout was confusing — it started with sweets and pastries, and only at the end were there a few main breakfast items, with limited variety. It was especially hard to find something suitable for our kids, as the bread was too hard for them. There was also another small buffet table in a separate corner of the restaurant, close to guests’ tables, which wasn’t clearly marked and felt cramped. Additionally, the coffee machine was in poor condition and didn’t look or perform like what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. Overall, I would give 1 star for the breakfast, but the rest of the stay — especially the clean room and helpful staff — was a positive experience.
