Best Western Hotel Kantstrasse Berlin

Love the place. We are here with 3...6 people every year forba week. Shopping street right next door, 3 minute walk to S train station. Noteworthy the impressive breakfast. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The lobby is at the moment in total renovation, but there is no shortage of nice restaurants and bars in short walk distance. The rooms toward the back of the hotel are very quiet.

If there is no air conditioning in the room, mention that everywhere in caps and bold, hiding the truth is also a lie! So that people can choose other places, which by the way have central air conditioning system in place and sometimes they are cheaper than yours. The staff are a bit weird, you get only one liners. That's not how hospitality industry works, customer service should be your priority, learn a thing or two about that. All in all I travel to Berlin very often, this hotel will never be on my list!

This is a nice hotel in the center of City West. The rooms are medium-sized but more than adequate, clean and equipped with all necessary amenities, desk, IPTV, free internet, bathroom with underfloor heating, nice lighting. Kantstr. is a bit noisy but the windows keep the noise out very well. I can still only give the hotel one star. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a missing item. I forgot two jackets in the wardrobe when I checked out—one was a suit jacket, and the other a valuable rain jacket. When I contacted the hotel, only the suit jacket was returned. Despite my immediate report, the rain jacket was never found. Based on the fact that both items were stored together, I have good reason to believe that the rain jacket was kept by a hotel employee. When I expressed this concern to management, I was met with a legal threat rather than a constructive conversation (see their reaction below). I found this response to be disappointing and unprofessional, especially since my complaint was legitimate. My intention was to resolve the issue amicably, but the hotel's approach was far from reassuring. Conclusion: While the location and amenities of the hotel were excellent, the handling of my missing item left much to be desired. I hope future guests will not have a similar experience.
