Best Western Hotel Karlaplan

This is a well located hotel with shops and restaurants within in walking distance. Good transport links to central Stockholm if you don't feel like walking. Rooms are very clean, smallish but not cramped, you have absolutely everything you need. Bed was super comfortable and bathroom is a good size. Hotel was quiet at night which meant a great sleep!! Breakfast was fantastic, catering for all needs, everything was labelled and they even had a gluten free section which was separate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a great visit and we will definitely return.

We had a great stay here. Very central, kind of quiet, excellent service, great breakfast, small but ok room. The only downside is the lack of AC since it's an old building. It gets quite warm in the room on these summer days. Overall, we were content and would recommend this hotel :)

Overall, this hotel is a good one for anybody wanting a relatively cheap, decent hotel with very easy access to Stockholm. The front desk staff is awesome- Eugenia is the absolute best. She deserves a raise for all that she did for me! Rooms are good AS LONG AS you do not stay on the basement floor. I almost did, but upon seeing the room I got my room switched to an upper floor. The basement floor rooms are small, cramped, underground, and have NO WORKING WINDOW OR AIR CONDITIONING. Unless you are OK with that, I would strongly advise to pay a little bit extra for a non-basement room. Location is great. However walls are thin in the hotel and you can hear everything happening outside and in the hallways. Breakfast is great- lots of options and good food. Nice that they have coffee, tea, and snacks available all day.
