Best Western Hotel Leipzig City Center

I m quite surprised, I have to be honest. The hotel is as convenient for early flights as it is for exploring the city. Just opposite the transit station, 5 min walking away from the historic center. Public parking 2-3 minutes away from the hotel for 7€ per day. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. We were in a studio which was pretty enough for 3 people. The breakfast is awesome with everything one needs - variety of eggs, cereal, etc. As a Genius member on Booking.com, the value for money was unbeatable.

I was on 6th floor and room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Water pressure and bathroom was excellent! Breakfast was high quality and variety and all staff were competent and friendly. I have no idea where the negative reviews come from. Did we stay in different hotels? I stayed for 3 nights. Another good part of location is that Hauptbahnoff/train station has a full mall on two basement floors. Great food, shopping at Aldi, I bought some stationary. When was the last time you saw a stationary shop??

I booked this room because it advertised that it had air conditioning. It did not! The hotel only.turns on the air conditioning during certain seasons, and even then you have no ability to control the temperature in your own room. Other than to make it warmer, right? It was near 80° in my room during our 2 night stay. We were miserable and I got no sleep whatsoever Also, the pillows were flat, and that is an understatement. You might as well wad up a T-shirt and stick it in a pillowcase. This place was way below standard.
