The rooms are very nice, clean and isolated from the noise of the street. Air conditioner. The beds were comfortable and every day they leave chocolate in the room. We have a coffee machine and everything to do a tea as well as water in the room. The breakfast was very nice with fresh orange juice (I love that) and variable each day. many different kinds of cheese, bread, fruits, yogurt, eggs, bacon, etc. They were nice receiving German way. Not too much but ok. The centre of Bonn is near 15-20 minutes walking as well as the train station. around there is a lot of bars and restaurants for every taste. The kitchen of all bars and restaurants closes at 22. After, only drinks. Nothing to complain about! I recommend!
Just avoid if you can. Unless windows are completely shut (=no air) rooms are too loud because the motorway runs right below the hotel. You basically should sleep with AC on, if you can; otherwise you don't sleep. Room is very basic and dusty; dingy and small; mattress too soft and uncomfortable, pillow kills your neck. How did they keep the 4 stars? The area is actually very nice, but just pick any other hotel.
The staff can't help it. They were great; but the hotel is nostalgic in a way only German hotels can be. No renovations since the late 70's. Bathrooms ok-ish. Noisy rooms. A 60 euro a night type place. Anything over 90 Euro would feel like a rip-off.
