Best Western Merrion

The hotel location is great as you have access to the nearby mall/eateries. I had to book the hotel at the last moment so I checked the availability and price at the front desk but the price difference was huge compared to the other platform. But they assigned a corner room with a great view. The room is comfortable with little slow service but otherwise it's good. The rooftop restaurant and bar is good but a tad smaller. Parking is valet and available. Pricing is good with all comfort and amenities.

Overall experience is nice. Rooms could be better. Service quality and food experience is nice. In room dining and breakfast meals are tasty. All the hotel staff members are friendly and welcoming, espically Prabjot. They will look after your needs and respond quickly to your requests.

Overall it was ok but definitely major scope of improvement areas. Pros - 1. staff was very courteous. 2. Rooms are big. 3. Location is very nice with all major places nearby but not too crowded. 4. decently priced. Cons - 1. pathetic food. no help/alternations for a kid. my bad luck that kid got sick during that time and couldn't eat on top of it they were not ready to make any alterations in anything - simple ask like providing a veggie/dal without spice 2. breakfast spread was bad first and second day. second day no place to sit due to renovations in main room. after waiting they asked me to sit with someone else. third day nice. apparently they had a audit on third day so the third day breakfast was only to show auditors. 3. they did all the work during our visit construction/wood work/painting/noise throughout first and second day. asked us to move to a different room on same floor. least they could have done was move to a different floor. 4. bathroom flush did not work at all in first room. they have such a nice property and behavior not sure why so unprofessional. the place could have been renovated in a way that guests are not disturbed. just saying sorry doesn't make it any better for the customer.
