Great stay! Clean comfortable room. Friendly service. Location is a short 2 block walk to the Lancaster Gate Underground and a 10 minute walk to Paddington Station. Breakfast was good including cooked to order eggs. Love the library lobby. Gym had treadmills. WiFi kept cutting in and out but we talked to the front desk and they gave us an alternate login that worked better in our room.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Mornington Hotel, ideally situated just off Hyde Park. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional, largely due to the outstanding service provided by Khalid at the front desk. Khalid’s warm welcome and efficient check-in process set the tone for a delightful stay. He went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, providing valuable information about the hotel’s amenities and nearby attractions. His professionalism and genuine care for guests truly stood out. The hotel’s location is superb, offering easy access to Hyde Park and London’s vibrant West End. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, providing a restful retreat after a day of exploration. I highly recommend the Best Western Mornington Hotel for anyone seeking an affordable and memorable stay in London.
We had a good stay overall. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and the room was ok with a comfortable bed. The hotel’s location is excellent – just a short walk from Hyde Park and close to many attractions. That said, there were a few downsides. The room was quite small, which might be inconvenient . One day, I requested housekeeping, but later found the “Do Not Disturb” sign had been placed on the door, so the room wasn’t cleaned. I had clearly put the “Please Clean” sign, so I’m not sure if it was a mistake or intentional. Also, there was no coffee machine in the room – just instant Nescafé sachets. For the price paid, I would expect better in-room amenities. Despite these points, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the helpful staff and great location.
