Best Western Okinawa Kouki Beach

The good: views are quite nice and the beach is great for swimming. The horrible: the mattress was so hard and the pillows so thin, it completely ruined my stay. I am 28 years old and now understand what it feels to be 60 so much my back aches. It is the reason that took away a third star from my review. The ok: the breakfast is not great but edible, staff feels untrained to deal with foreigners but have been friendly. Rooms were old but not too bad; spacious enough with a balcony.

One of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room looked nothing like the pictures—everything was outdated and badly in need of renovation. The mattress was rock hard—I barely got any sleep, and that’s coming from someone used to sleeping on camping mats. One pillow was filled with uncomfortable beads, and the other was so thin and worn out it was practically useless. The Wi-Fi was just as bad—so slow and unreliable that I had to use my mobile data just to check emails. Parking was another issue: if you return after 10 PM, you’ll likely end up parking on the grass between trees due to lack of space. They also charge you little extras for everything like beach towels. On the (very) small plus side, the breakfast buffet was just okay—nothing special. The only real positives were the beachside location and the Family Mart conveniently located downstairs.

Arrived today paid oved $1000 AUD for 2 nights. Walked into my room has a old mouldy smell. Opened the window with a tree blocking my every view. Everything is old in this hotel. I left the room immediately to forget about how bad it was i came back and i have founds anys crawling everywhere avoid this place
