Best Western Park Hotel Geneve Thoiry

I had a wonderful 6-night stay at Best Western Park Hotel Genève-Thoiry while attending an exhibition in Geneva. From the very beginning, the reception team was incredibly helpful and responsive, assisting me with various logistical needs throughout my entire trip. The hotel itself is peaceful and beautifully located, offering lovely views. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. What truly made my stay exceptional was the team — they are not only friendly and respectful but genuinely caring and kind. Their hospitality made me feel completely at home. You can tell they are truly guest-oriented and passionate about what they do. As it was my first time visiting Geneva and the French side, their local tips and warm conversations were both inspiring and heartwarming. I’m sincerely grateful for the experience and hope to return someday. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable!

Hello, Im in Best Western Park Hotel Genevé-Thoiry since June 2nd 2025. I first had a basic room. I was upgraded to a suite because the shower was not working and I got electroshocked from inproperly mounted bedside lamp. Now I am in the suite and the first things I noticed, is that a giant lamp for ambient light was not working when trying to switch on. Root cause: The outlet is dead. The next suprise was the bathroom. When trying to fill the bath tub I turned the knob in order to close the drain. Result: The whole piece is coming off and I look at a digusting mixture of mould and dort and possible sperm. When talking I to the receptionist, I was offered a compensation of 15 euros in teams of a breakfast. When taking a look at the breakfast bar, the bacon and samstages look so bad, that I would not even offer to my dog. When trying to make a coffe with the machine, I enter the capsule, push the button, and I get an error message. When asking the manager (I believe she was the manager on duty at this moment, she explained to me that is ‘normal’. So on average, I needed 2-3 cápsulas to make one coffee. Next there is a sing, that asks clients to save resources. When back in my room I want to go to bed after my night shift; I am shift leader at the ALICE experiment. I try the lamp next to the bed. It is the same model, that elexctroshocked me before in the other room. Also this lamp is so loosely mounted, that I’m afraid touching it. It has a metal casing and a 230V alert sticker on it. One electroshock is enough for me. This was just from the top of my head. I could go on and on. Is this what 4 star hotel rooms, that cost north of 150 euros per night, are supposed to be in France? I expect a proper compensation.

There is a bus stop beside the hotel- that is great. The rooms are quite clean but they could pay more attention to the details. The wifi is average -we got a room where there was no signal at all but in the lounge it worked ok. The staff is really nice and helpful. I would not give this hotel 4 stars but rather 3.7. The view from some of the rooms is great - you can see the mountains. All in all I would come back if I had to.
