Best Western Plus Amsterdam Airport Hotel

This hotel was absolutely perfect for my trip. It’s the best budget hotel I have stayed in. I spent time in central Amsterdam where there is a 15 min train you can access via shuttle for free. The room was very clean, sheets and bed were very comfy. The staff were all very helpful whenever I interacted with them.

Stayed at Best Western 1 night to catch an early flight back home. Everything was very good. Clean rooms with plenty of room. Shower and bathroom all good. Got extra towels and pillows on request, and a shaving kit I had no packed with me. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and reasonable. The desk personnel were super friendly and saw to every need and request, including early pre-check-in baggage storage. Shuttle was comfortable and on time.

I got the suite for a family of 4. The lights went out in our suite at 10 pm. The staff had no idea what to do but provided us with two small led flashlights to move to two other rooms for the night. Those very small Flashlights would not allow us to do anything in such a dark place. They offered us nothing for our troubles. The next morning when we woke up, and by the time I got out the room to find out about the status of the electricity in the original rooms we paid for, the suite, they quickly deactivated the cards. Staff change as well. So, I had to explain repeatedly to a different front desk staff about what transpired at midnight. Previous staff left no messages regarding our issues. I had to explain to people so often that it became annoying. The issue was eventually resolved by two female staff members that came up to the room at around 12 pm the next day and flipped a switch to reset something. It is quite shocking that the hotel didn't have some sort of electrician or handyman on staff 24 hrs to address issues that can pop up. Stay at another hotels. There are about three or four neighboring ones. The only good thing about this hotel is the shuttle service to and from the airport.
