Best Western Plus Arosa Hotel

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast and dinner were delicious. We highly recommend the BW Arosa.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel in July 2025. The room was nice even though the whole hotel is somewhat outdated. I had a nice view over the city centre and the room was clean and quiet. BUT...big deducts as during the few hours I was in my room these two days, staff entered or tried to enter my room a total of EIGHT (!!!) times (5x to clean, 2x to check the minibar and 1x unannounced (didn't even knock) for unknown reason). When I complained at check-out the lady claimed they don't know when people check out hence they have every right to enter the room and I should've put up the "do not disturb" sign - which I didn't even have in my room. Not good enough...so I doubt I'll return here. There are other nice hotels in Paderborn where I'm sure they give you some privacy during your visit. Breakfast was decent and the spa on the 8th floor was also fine - nothing luxurious but not bad at all! Strange they don't have a gym but they have a pool.

It’s my second visit to this hotel. Forget about Air conditioner even after seeing Air conditioned advertisement or info while booking. They have only cooler not Air conditioner ( clarified by an employee at reception). This cooler cannot go lower than 25 degrees centigrade even the controller has option from 10 degrees to 25degrees centigrade. Don’t know how can I survive for 3 more hot days in this hotel. I don’t find the difference between inside and outside of room😝. But the good part is they also provide ventilators.
