beautiful hotel, everything tidy, clean. Staff very nice. Maybe bike storage in the garage. Good breakfast - it is good to pay it.

We arrived late and without a reservation at this hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and was able to get a room for us. It was a 2 story, german industrial style apartment. (Above the bathroom/shower and below the bedroom, office area, stairs were made out metal!). The excellent breakfast was right across the street in an "inn".

I shall review the hotel itself and the "Kulinarik rund ums Bier" package I bought separately. I stayed two nights at the hotel in a Bierkasten room. The stay was comfortable and the service was very kind and and helpful. I declined the room cleaning in favor of a free drink at the restaurant, that is a very nice initiative of theirs. The breakfast was within the German standards, at least the sweet part. Bread was OK but the cakes a bit dry. Didn't touch the meat part. About the beer package: the brewery tour I found a bit too quick and with a guide who wasn't really keen to conversation. He gave me the impression he wanted us out of his hair as soon as possible and indeed in 30 minutes we were out of there, with an aperitif of their Jubel Bier (amber lager) and their Keller directly from the tank and a slice of bread. The 3-course beer dinner was a nice meal and worth the price, included in the package although the drinks were excluded.
