My husband stays here occasionally on work trips. He doesn't mind it because it's close to where he needs to be. But, at this particular location, he never leaves anything in the room when he leaves for work during the day. Same thing when he brought me here. We packed everything up and hauled it all in and out each of the 5 days. I've never experienced that before in many years of travel. Our room was near a vending machine and we got to hear the bang from that all night long. So apparently the walls were quite thin. The room was nice and clean, other than the grout around the tiles and tub. Something was going on there but I couldn't quite determine if they had tried to cover mold or if there was some other random malfunction in remodeling. There were only 2 towels in the room but they remade our room each day. Breakfast was good. Parking was plentiful near our room. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff was friendly but lightly mocking when we had to return to get the keys reprogrammed before even making it into our room the first time. They warned us not to put it next to our phone. I was careful not to but must have gotten them too close. It only happened one other time in the 5 days but a bit of a pain if your room is far away.
wish I could share something positive about this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from start to finish. Beyond the hassle I faced trying to cancel a reservation (which was poorly handled), the actual stay — for which I paid $231 per night — was far below expectations. Only two towels were provided. We had to resort to using our own from our luggage. The swimming pool area had no towels either. The bathroom sink was cracked, and to top it off, the body soap dispenser was completely empty — because apparently, soap during a shower is optional here. For that price point, the basics should be a given — not a luxury. Honestly, I regret not staying at the Quality Inn across the street, where in my past experiences, at least they provide the essentials — even if they’re simple. This felt like a new low. I won’t be returning.
I had accidentally booked the wrong date — a month ahead — and arrived at the hotel on the day I thought my reservation was for. The front desk was understanding and told me this kind of mix-up happens all the time. They assured me they’d be happy to cancel the booking if my third-party booking partner contacted them. I followed through immediately, and the booking partner called the hotel the same evening (June 27th). I was even given a reference number for my records and told the refund would be processed in 5–7 business days. A week later, I was informed that the hotel had gone back on its word. The manager allegedly cited a "policy" stating that no refunds can be given if the booking was paid in full — something that was never mentioned at the time. My booking partner confirmed they were ready to process the cancellation, but the hotel refused. This felt extremely unfair and misleading. I acted in good faith based on what the staff told me, only to be penalized later. Had I known the hotel would change its stance, I wouldn’t have stayed there at all. Disappointed with the experience, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
