Best Western Plus Gyldenlove Hotell

My experience at Best Western Plus Gyldenlove Hotell was very good - the location of the hotel was perfect as it's right next to the train station (and very centrally located - close to town). The room was very clean, with a larger bed than I had expected (pleasant surprise!). The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful and overall a pleasure to speak with. The standard and options for the breakfast was superb - all foods were fresh, of very high quality and always replenished instantly. Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfasts each morning. I will definitely be revisiting on my next trip to Kongsberg.

Very nice hotel, comfy room, warm atmosphere and the location is just super!! Service overall was great, very friendly and welcoming staff, eagerly helping with any question or need. Any future trips in the area, and I'll definitely be considering you to house me again 😊 With all the praise some may question whats up whith just the 4 stars then... Well there was this annoyance with the hot water, and to me, the explanation sounded a bit sus... To be clear, there was plenty hot water, if you at first just waited a few minutes with the hot water at full blast down the drain. And that really started to annoy on morning 3 of 4 😅 Fix that, and you're just about perfect 👌🏼

Very nice hotel but a little behind others in Kongsberg, rooms could do with a little updating. The food is always fresh and tasty, menu is a little small but there are numerous places to eat nearby One benefit that was not offered at other hotels is the shuttle service in the morning, coupled with being so close to the bus/train station it certainly has the more advantageous location in the area.
