Best Western Plus Hotel Brueggen

A very nice place to stay! Where in town for 2 days - and booked this hotel. Very nice staff - always smiling and in at good mood. The small restaurent created the most perfect meal for dinner on the 2 nigth. Breakfast in the mornings had everything you could need. If I am ever in this town again - you will be seeing me!

Big parking next to Hotel. It is in the city centre, thus very short walking distance to any restaurant. They have big bar that was open during our stay in February, but the restaurant in the evening not yet open - I heard it would open in March. Rooms are spacious and well cleaned. Have hairdryers that are quite powerful, not the usual attached to the wall ones. The reception is welcoming and ready to help on anything. Recommend

When I entered the hotel, I was greeted by two men, one wearing a baseball cap and the other wearing a jacket. I thought it was an elevator repair company, because in a four-star hotel the staff usually wear uniforms. There were no channels on TV, there was only internet TV, there was no hair dryer, no shoe horn, but this is such a small detail... Breakfast lasted until 11:00, but at 9:00 the buffet was practically empty. In addition, guests had to wait a long time for their tables because they were not cleaned regularly. Some people got impatient with the long wait and decided to just drink coffee. This didn't work, there were thermoses but no cups (the coffee machine was turned off). For two days we heard that you can't pay for the rooms by card, only cash. It's puzzling... Why can't you pay by card in a 4-star hotel in Europe in the 21st century? To sum up: the building is modern, but here there was only a 4-star price and one-star service.
