Best Western Plus Hotel Escapade Senlis

One night stopover. This place is convenient close to the highway and the old Senlis town. The room was clean and so was the sauna and the indoor pool. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was mediocre. Plenty of room for (free) parking your car.

We rented a family room, which was very clean (as was the rest of the hotel), but this included a pull out bed, which wasn't the greatest. (They rarely are very comfortable though). We skipped the breakfast at 19€ per person and picked up pastries and some fresh strawberries from a small marketplace that was set up for the morning. The room itself was well priced.

Service and safety terrible we didn't even checkout yet our room was not available to us. And management did nothing except make it worse. They entered our room without consent and only double down and make you feel unsafe in your booked room. Terrible experience. The rooms are not clean enough. Even after mistakes are made they made it even worse no apology and let us feel terrible. Small update after the incorrect statement of the hotel.: The only way management could know if we were not in the room was to open te room without checkout / permission and check. A major violation of our privacy. We didn't give any permission to enter the room prior to checkout time. Still 2 hours before checkout time. The hotel actively blocked our room and denied entry to our booked room. After we let them know we didn't leave and just want to use our booked room. Also the do not disturb sign was on the door. After we enter the room that was actively block by the hotel team we still needed the room. We closed the door but management forced them selves in the room when my wife was in the shower.
