Best Western Plus Hotel Massena Nice

My children surprised me with a lovely gift for my birthday to stay in Nice at this hotel. From the outset the staff were so friendly and informative. I went to my room that had a beautiful balcony with a great street view, a fantastic large comfortable bed and great artwork which is also displayed throughout the hotel. The shower pressure was amazing and even though my bathroom was small it was sufficient. My issues with the room were that the light switch was not secured in the wall properly. I did ask for this to be fixed but it was not. The floor mat that I was given for the shower was not clean, but as it was just to stand on, it was fine. I did find the bathroom of the hotel a little dusty. I dropped a piece of jewellery and when I was trying to find it on the bathroom floor my hand came away with a few dust balls. The breakfast was outstanding with a special call out to the fantastic smoothies that were made fresh every morning and the great fresh orange juice machine. There is a varied breakfast (to say the least) with everything that you could possibly think of. Including fresh honeycomb that you can add to your breakfast and use as you choose. As always the staff were amazing and extremely accommodating. As I do not know everyone's name I will just say that every single member of staff that I spoke to were incredibly helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and just very delightful. They really helped make the holiday memorable and remarkable. I would happily stay again and hope that those few mishaps would be amended.

Having a parking area, even if paid, is a big plus, and the valet service deserves full marks. The bathroom and toilet were separate — though the toilet was incredibly small, the room itself was quite good. Overall, it’s a clean place with good value for money, I was satisfied. Location was amazing

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Masséna in Nice. Overall, the hotel was nice — the rooms weren’t the best I’ve seen, but they were clean and decent. The service was good, and the staff were always smiling and welcoming, which I really appreciated. What I liked the most was the location — it’s super central and convenient for exploring Nice. I would rate the experience 4 stars, not more, but definitely a solid stay!
