Huge modern, very clean room, excellent staff, big bathroom and shower, nice appointments, quiet for the city, highly reminded.
5 night stay while visiting family 25km north of the hotel. Room (twin single) size slightly smaller than what I am accustomed to in North America, but it did not take away from the stay. It was quiet and comfortable. Had all the amenities we needed, including a small fridge that came in extremely handy to cool our water bottles needed to deal with the extremely hot days during our stay. We opted for the buffet breakfast service which we found to be a great value for the money and also convenient. It was limited in the number of hot food items (scrambled eggs and bacon) but then again that comes with a higher price based on my experience with North American hotels. We had dinner one occasion. The Grigliata Dell'Olimpo and the Fritura di Pesce were excellent. Would have had dinner there again if it were not for being hosted by family. To get to the breakfast room or restaurant, when exiting the elevator, to your right is a ramp that leads to a walk way with another ramp that lands where the restaurant is located. Here you will find another elevator that will take you up to the breakfast room, thus making it accessible for all. Conversely, turning to your left will take you to the front reception from which you will then need to take two short flights of stairs, each only 3-4 steps, in order to get to the restaurant and elevator for the breakfast room. No problems with the Wifi. The only other amenity we utilized was parking. There are effectively two lots. One is accessed via the side street, and the other is that for the restaurant. All staff members we interacted with were friendly, courteous, and helpful. As for location, it was very easy for us to get to/from it. A bar/gelateria can be found a short distance from the hotel - perfect for beating the summer heat. Definitely would stay there again.
It doesn't seem unfair to me that a hotel has a shuttle available to pick up one of their customers who has booked. In order to go to another facility, you have to pay for a taxi. By the way, it's the most expensive service I've used. The price here is higher than other places.
