Best Western Plus Hotel Plaza

Location was excellent - walking distance to the train station and near many amenities. I stayed on the 2nd floor, and I was initially afraid it is going to be noisy since it is by a busy road. However, the sound proofing was also very good with double glazed windows. Though the room was small, I think it's still acceptable. I could still work in my room with a laptop. Gym is also small and limited to free weights, a treadmill and a stationary bike. Service is very staff dependent. 1 lady was exceptionally friendly and helpful, 1 man was grumpy, some others are ok.

The service is amazing! Especially Paolo!! Such a great guy, who took such good care of us! He is so friendly, he gave us great tips for the city and made delicious cocktails! The only negative part of our stay here, was the shower… the bathroom got flooded after taking a shower and a large amount of water entered the room… this was really inconvenient! Other than that, our stay was pretty good :)

Disappointing. They say they have a rooftop terrace, but it's only accessible at breakfast time. They say they have air conditioning, but the room was a steady 80F (you can leave your window open at night to cool off a little at the cost of listening to the significant city noise). Also, don't forget to account for the 30 euro city tax, it will be added even if you are "paid in full". There are better hotels closer to the train station, and better hotels closer to the historic district, consider this a "Last Resort".
