Best Western Plus Hotel & Residences Istanbul

I enjoyed a stay in this Best Western Plus hotel. My room was like a small studio apartment. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The TV is modern with a nice music channel and access to Netflix etc It is a quiet hotel which was important for me. I didn't stay there for the view but it looks nice at night from the window. I figured out how to use the sauna and gym. The sauna may need to be booked an hour in advance. It's across in another building but easily accessible. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and Samet on reception helped me a lot. His English is very good. There are 3 supermarkets close by and a number of nice, affordable cafes and restaurants. I didn't figure out how to use the Metro from there but if you travel at off peak times Uber taxis are affordable. I went in the city early on a Saturday and left for the airport before 6 am another day. Be aware that Istanbul can have traffic congestion at peak times. Thanks to this hotel for a nice stay. PS It's good to have some basic Turkish and a translator.

The only reason I would come back to Istanbul is to stay here. Ridwan and staff were kind and respectful and helpful - something I cannot say about the rest of the people in Istanbul. The hotel itself is far from the sights but worth it if you rent a car. It is clean, comfortable, spacious. No surprises, no getting ripped off. It’s no frills, minimal amenities, but the linens are comparable to American hotels and cleaning service does a good job - every other day or as requested. The pool is awesome for kids. You need a swim cap and can purchase one for 100tl. The restaurant next door-zeki usta - is delish and well priced and no extra charges for foreigners. The parking lot is large and safe and in the back of the building. I cannot emphasise how comfortable this hotel was for us despite being far from sites. We drive to Zeytinburnu, parked on the street, and took the T1 into town.

Love this hotel so much this is my second time staying here, the staff are lovely, the area is amazing the hotel rooms are like mini studios. It also has a gym, pool and etc.
