Wonderful two story room, spacious for a family. Our windows looked upon a vineyard. It is a few steps to historic center but had (free) parking immediately outside. Hard combination to find in France. Perfect in many ways. Only downside was some glitch with our air conditioning; we couldn’t figure out how to turn it back on during the night when it seemed to mysteriously turn off. Riquewihr was one of our favorite small Alsatian towns. Magical part of the country.
This hotel has plenty of parking and it’s walking distant to the cute little village of Riquewihr. We came summer 2023 AND returned for another trip in summer 2024. It seems like they are renovating a lot of the rooms! There is an outdoor pool (I never used the indoor pool) and a small gym. We love that this place is dog friendly. I hope it remains open to dogs so we can come back. Tip for dog owners: There were a few places IN TOWN that used to be dog friendly in 2023, but they now have signage (2024) that doesnt permit dogs. So if you have a dog and you’re planning to go to dinner— make sure you verify with the restaurant if they allow dogs so you aren’t scrambling last minute to find food. Riquewihr is a small town, so you want to ensure you have a reservation for dinner!
