Nice and cozy hotel that is located in the city center and inside the shopping mall. The bed is comfortable and room is clean. Breakfast is also great with lots of choices.
Staying at this hotel felt less like booking a room and more like being dropped into a scavenger hunt designed by someone with a wicked sense of humor. Let’s start with finding the place, which was... not possible. The address in the booking confirmation (from Best Western), on their website, and on Google Maps, all pointed us confidently to the wrong location. We drove in circles for 30 minutes before giving up and calling the hotel directly—because apparently that’s the only working GPS. The hotel is tucked away in a car-free zone, and the address they give actually leads you to a random parking garage that has absolutely nothing to do with the hotel. Even after we finally found it, Google Maps still insisted we were five minutes away—which frankly felt personal at that point. To make it even more confusing, the hotel proudly displays signs for JA Hotel, with no clear mention of Best Western. Picture a giant banner screaming “JA HOTEL!” and then somewhere, down near your ankles, a little whisper of “psst… Best Western maybe.” If you're expecting to see any branding from the company you actually booked with—good luck. And then, there’s the hotel itself. It feels like someone inherited five half-finished buildings, glued them together with duct tape and hope, and filled in the rest with whatever materials were left over from other projects. Our toilet seat didn’t even match the toilet. I’m not sure they were originally from the same country. As for cleanliness... let’s just say you’ll want to keep your shoes on. Our room had a view, yes - into a shopping mall. And not the charming kind with fountains and fancy boutiques. No, this was the kind of mall where dreams go to take a smoke break. Curtains stayed closed. BUT - the staff was genuinely wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and clearly trying to make the best of a chaotic setup they probably didn’t design. Would I recommend it? Only if you enjoy puzzles, plot twists, and shopping mall ambiance.
